Do you sometimes watch old Bey performances (early 2000s) and just think, "Damn, she has GROWN!" Like, Queen has always been a talented performer but if you put 2003 Beyonce next to 2014 Beyonce, the former will hang her head in shame. I truly think she came into her own during the B'Day era. Her dancing is sharper, the vocals stronger and her stage presence is on another level these days. And you know what's funny? Her performances back then still shit on some of these current Pop girls. beyonce

A while back, I saw some comparison of Bey to fine wine and I couldn’t have agreed with something more. She really is special, because she works hard to constantly get better. After a performance, she re-watches it over and over,looking for things to improve on. That’s why she is still doing this well 16+ years into her career. Unlike most of her peers, she doesn’t settle for good. Instead she keeps pushing the boundaries of excellence, working to continually wow us and even herself. She’s always looking to learn something new, or try something different with her voice, look, image etc. It’s amazing stanning for such greatness.
